"Twig is very interesting to be around, no doubt about that. He can be.. fun. He's boisterous, but not to the point of being annoying... Yet, his arrogance tests my patience. It mostly deals with how he does things when I believe without a doubt in my mind that he can't. When he's able to succeed anyway, well. That just frustrates me even further. I'm under the impression that I'm not his favorite viscet, but the feeling's mutual.
But, even while we aren't the best of friends, he's never gone back on his word around me. And for that, I'll continue to do the same."
"Petra is another viscet that I simply stumbled across. She wanted access to an ancient burial site within the rainforest for her archeologist research, so during those few weeks when I first came into contact with her, I watched over both her and her research. To be completely honest, during that time I mostly occupied myself with keeping her safe from the animals in the forest and administering anti-venom whenever she stumbled upon anything unsavory. Which was often, mind you- She got stung by the same type of spider twice in as many days at one point. It wasn't in my job description to converse with her, so I did so sparingly. She was nice and all, but she could just go on and on... I admit to getting frustrated with her at times, but her optimism seemed to make my coldness towards her just wash off her back. If nothing else, then I admire how well she bounced back. I was just a bit too scathing towards her, even though I offered up my home to her.
But somehow, and some way, she grew on me. To this day, I still can't fathom how a viscet could stay that upbeat. And she still wishes to keep in touch. I hope she realizes that I make a terrible friend."
